Sanctuary pudding. Tango fortresses fortify my clandestine sanctuary. Fortification saves your cigars from gravy. Yeah. You save it from warm liquids which quickly cool. Camel back spiders. Camel spiders quench. Numb your limb and eat it. I am telling you. Numb your limb and eat it. Get me my Smith Corona so I can type a real thing without being becoming zronpurux. A meticulous lobotomy is what they will give me after a typing of any lengthy proportion.

I know Robins of sons exist. I know Ashes of Von exist. I know Norra of Anders exist. I know Raveling of Ravels exist. I know Cases of Torms. I know something about opening windows and doors. There is a will among Wilks. I also know how to move quietly, creep across creepy wood floors. I’d like to know the first among us. Is there one? Is there a Primus? Crap. There is a lot of insanity within a few socketoweea songs! BOOM! There was a bomb (home made) that went off in the distance. Don’t worry, you will not die. It has ended. Just one reminder. Listen to that Miscellaneous Debris or you will never experience vibrations that can occur within one half hour.

Don’t Die!

P.S. Thank You, Avon

Been Geocaching Lately. That is some fun stuff. You have probably been feet away from one several times. People hide things in the most obscure places, yet right in the normal walking path of hundreds of people. I have been by several and now that I know of them I got the GPS coordinates and opened them!

Wow, Tool really has some beautiful music. The Tool String Tribute album I have is amazing. I have not listened to the actual band in some time though.

UN-IMPORTANT MEMORIES THAT HAVE RECENTLY FLASHED

Typing with I Seek You (ICQ) with friends.

Seeing Tool, live, twice! Couple of the greatest shows ever.

Seeing Primus, Colonel Claypools Bucket of Bernie Brains, two separate occasions. Awesome! Phantasm!

Climbing very high towers, just for the view.

On a more serious note, there is news to declare! It is probably best that you read it for yourself. Since these things disappear from the internet, I have copied the article. You may read it below:

The City of Solana Beach emergency crews were called to respond to a possible shark attack at approximately 7 a.m. this morning. Both Fire and Lifeguard Rescue Services arrived at Tide Park to assist a 66-year-old male victim, Dr. David Martin, who was pulled from the surf by fellow swimmers and transported to Fletcher Cove Park Lifeguard station for emergency treatment…

Could this be, yet another, result of the terror that the Terrible Women of South America have brought upon us?

Last night I had a dream that Rach said,”Let’s go to Munich for our Anniversary.” Then we were there. We were in this Costal city that I always go to in my dreams. There is this awesome parking ramp right over the water but a lot of times it gets flooded and you cannot get your car out. I learned long ago not to park there. It was fun because I knew where we were going until we decided to go somewhere further then I have ever gone. We got lost but eventually found our way back.

Watched Vikings vs. Packers… sort of. Mainly I watched Joan Rivers, Jerry Springer, Fox News and MTV News (from the 90’s) excerpts. Quite fun!

Also, Opera X is out but I really miss Opera IX. Teensie growl. Just found out that Opera (browser) has implemented in-line spell checking! OPERA ROCKS-AH!

My next post shall contain some photos-ah!

”Either this winter will go on forever… or I will die before it ends!” I keep saying. It is never going to end and I’m going to die! Lately, I have been listening to a lot of Syd Barrett. It is perfect for blue, grey days. His music makes me want to start writing (music, stories… anything) again.

Rach and I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Minus the annoying sad/melodramatic music, it was definitely a David Fincher movie. It was a great but sad movie. I was hoping the Benjamin would turn into an embryo at the end and disappear but the story and make-up was good.

Today I caught ~fifty fish. Out of those, I kept ten. My daddy taught me how to clean them so I cleaned them all and now when you people come to see me I will give you fish to eat. You will eat them with your teeth in your mouth. If you have no teeth I will gladly pre-digest the fish for you and regurgitate it into your throat.

Is there really such thing as too much Marx Brothers or too much Syd Barrett or too much Salvador Dali or too much surrealism?

There is this band I have really been into for quite a few years now. They are called Polar Goldie Cats. They play, somewhat, technical, instrumental music that makes you want to lurch around your apartment scarring people who look up at your window. At the same time it is upbeat, in a way, and sort of epoch in a blasé sort of way.

Geeky Stuff – If it doesn’t interest you read below this paragraph

At the same time I listen to that group I am just finishing up a few final touches for the first script I have ever written! Last night after, probably too long a time, messing around with simple user input from the Bash shell I finished a temporary version of the script but now it is ready to go. There is no real title for it yet but what it does is make the file extensions of any .JPG files lowercase. We all know that uppercase extensions on any file are a pile of disaster and phlegm. Eventually the script will work with JPGs with lowercase extensions but the whole reason it was created was to fix the uppercase extensions my digital camera produces. If you are interested in the script, which works in Bash take a look at my script website for the source code and other info.

In other topics a friend of mine sent me a police report that someone had taken a picture of and aptly so because it read:

Wal-Mart: Police receive a report of a newborn infant found in a trash can. Upon further investigation, officers discover it was only a burrito.

This was funny to me. I had to reply so I switched the image up a bit and replied with my version:

One bored night, about three years ago, when I lacked motivation to play music or write I sat down and watched television. I am not a huge fan of television, it just doesn’t interest me. This one night though, after flipping through channels for a bit, I came accross a strange video of these robots playing music. Having seen robotic bands before and being interested in such things I continued watching, hoping I’d find out just what it was. There were many of these videos playing one after the other, each of them more interesting then the other. The series of videos were created by a company called Animusic.

Until tonight I had forgoten about those videos. Somehow I noticed the word “Animusic” when I was watching a video on YouTube. That word instantly made me think of those videos so clicked on the link. These videos are definitly worth taking a look at. These are just two that I like, there are many more.

Last night I went to a satisfying show held on a college campus. Two bands were playing. One which I never thought I would ever have the chance to see. The good bands just do not come around here anymore. The band is called Singer. The name is a mystery to me but I suspect they intentionally chose a name that would be hard to search for and find proper results.

They play odd rhythms and splintered guitar riffs with bass guitar that makes it all feel like a powerful bull in a frantic dance. Each one of them sings (maybe a reason for the name), sometimes all of them in unison. It is quite eerie. When Robert Lowe sings there is an especially eerie ring behind his voice. Their music is probably considered the new psychedelic rock but I am not one that follows the genre binge so I couldn’t say. I just listen to what I like. The impression I get from these guys though does not suggest, in the slightest, that they are drug fiends.

Singer is formed from members of several bands: Todd Rittmann (US Maple), Robert Lowe (90 Day Men), Ben Vida (Town and Country) and his brother Adam Vida (US Maple). They have successfully melded their styles into a vortex of wisdom and static.

Last night I took several photos of the band and a few short video clips. I talked with the classically mustached bass player, Robert Lowe, briefly while I was purchasing a CD and t-shirt. In the process of asking him to please come back on their next tour I told him I would be unable to make it to the show tomorrow night due to my empty pockets. He, so kindly, said he’d put me on the guest list! It will be an amazing show again. More photos will be taken. And just maybe I’ll find out the reason for the name.
