The Eloquent Eliphant (For Kids)
My wife, our friend A and me all decided to write a story entitled The Eloquent Eliphant. We wrote each of our own stories separatly with no input from eachother on what it would be about, besides, it must have a moral.
Because my memory is terrible, I cannot remember where the idea stemmed from. One night I was watching a movie with Bill Murray and an elipahnt in it. The title escapes my mind. The same night we watched part of that movie we also painted. That was the first time I had painted since jounior high school. Almost a decade. The idea for the story may have stemmed from that movie.
Below are some photos. The first one is the painting after I watched the Bill Murray movie. It is of Matthew Mcconaughey fighting an eliphant, even though it did not happen in the movie… or ever. But I saw in my head that Matthew Mcconaughey would fight an eliphant and it would lead to his demise.
The trees are nearly in full bloom and I will be taking macro shots of them for the next few days. The good photos will be supplied readily once the leaves being falling off.
